This is what Dick Blick has to say about stonehenge: Stonehenge is a traditional fine art paper with a smooth, flawless surface that is slightly mottled to resemble actual vellum. Use it for watercolor, printmaking, pen-and-ink, pencil, or pastel.
It's fairly stiff, thick. There is a smoother side and a rougher side. It takes a lot of abuse and layers. There is tiny bit of a learning curve with it. It used to make me crazy when my pencil didn't cover or fill in all the paper but I've learned that when you put down a good amount of layers, the holes fill in.
I order mine from Dick Blick. I think Denise gets hers from Ziegler's at Lewis and I-244 here in Tulsa.
Is this what you were wanting to know?

Thanks for the info Brenda.
Hi Brenda,
I adore Fabriano and a few other brands of paper, but I am always up for giving new paper a try.
:)
Does Stonehenge come in a weight that is heavier than 120 lb. as far as you know?
Thank you.
:)

:)the heavier weight doesn't work as well. this is fairly heavy as it's originally a printmaking paper.
