Are there any really GOOD books on composition and design? I am always searching for things that would make a good composition and have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I want to do a nautical scene with boats and such, and have gotten some reference photos from that *other* site, but don't know how to put them together to make one good photo.

Are there websites I can go to that would give me good pointers, or a really good book out there?

Excellent book that Gemma recommended. Also if you have Janie Gildow and Barbara Newton-Benedetti's book Colored Pencil Solution Book, they give a very good lesson on comp there.
