What a great compositional grouping! It looks really good in each medium but my favorite is the graphite. :D

which one ?
The graphite with or without background ?
did you follow the link ?

On WC (as many of you know this forum), you have a GREAT drawer, whose pseudo is "eclipse". The most hyper realistic drawer... He explained once how to draw a real black graphite background without any pencil strokes apearing. I had time ... I would love to make such a black background behind my hounds.
no ?

Without the background.....

your watercolors (w/ red and golden 1 and 2) are my second favorite............

Boy, that red really makes them stand out, and I like the colors in the 2 golden bgs.

Yes, I followed the link ;) :)

Hi Cyrill,

The graphite without the background is my favorite, I went to your site and I'm just amazed with your work. The portrait of "Sweep" is outstanding and for me "Bravo" is all I can say about it.

I can only hope that I can become half as good with my art as you are but I doubt I have that much time left on this earth....lol lol lol.

I've never taken an art class nor attended college, I know nothing of the "Old Masters" and have no idea what anyone is talking about when they get into the big debates about realism, photorealism, and naturalism exc.

I only draw as I've done from the time I could hold a pencil, it brings me much joy.

Thank you for sharing your site.

I don't know a lot about old masters either... just I like or I don't
and that's the most important...

I'll perhap's write someting in "perspective" even if I don't know the theory :D and if I ll speak mostly about my watercolours ... It could help someone ?
anyway writing ideas black on white, it helps oneself too
