Hi Katherine

Beautiful
you really captured the essence of a georgeous animal

a minor; the little black spot in lover right corner disturbs me - although it probably is on the photo as a shadow of muscles, it indicates a hole, that when not seeing more of the legs and side, appears "wrong". If I put my finger on monitor to "erase" it my eyes will circulate on the horses head, neck and mane, where focus are :) :bye1:

Thanks everyone for the positive feed back. I had a lot of fun doing this. Arabians are my favorites.
Lene, the little place you mentioned, under my name, is now under the mat, and does not show at all. It was just part of the mat board that I painted it on showing through. Oops. :blushing:

This is so beautiful, and such a soft focus!! Very dramatic lighting!! My only possilbe nit is the white streak across the black where the mouth is. It doesn't seem shaped properly for a horse's mouth, and I'm sure it's a highlight along some muscle or tendon in the face, but I keep wanting to read it as the mouth, and when I do, it comes across as a cartoon frowny face. I would either get rid of the line where it goes down, or add a bit more highlight to indicate where the mouth actually is. Otherwise, this is so fantastic!! The mane especially, it's so soft and whispy!
