WOW!! This is a really difficult angle to work from!! You've done a very good job with foreshortening the nose...the nostrils tend to look like wormholes into space from this angle, but you've managed it beautifully!! Great job!!
Thanks oozoo. This was my first serious drawing and it took quite a while to get things right. Hopefully I will be able to draw more quickly as I learn more and become more comfortable with the medium.
Very interesting pose. You captured this pose well. Is this a self portrait? I looks like your tinyhead. :)
It is lovely, Mair.
It is so nice to see you again!
:D
A really strong portrait and an unusual viewpoint.
Looking forward to the next one :)

You have put a lot of time and thought into this piece, lovely angle of the head and neck. Nose like Oozoo said, is lovely. I'd love to see more of your work on there, please share with us as wips.

hey you did a great job on this...and I know it's not easy at all! two points
1. i believe the ear is too low on your head in the drawing...ears normally end at the same level as your nose.
2. i believe there'd be some shading on the lips...both lips usually shade differently then the other.
Thanks Denise.
Thanks for your critique Arlene. It is very much appreciated.
