Image Libery - suggestion: wishing list

Fantastic Image Library, I found some subjects I have had a hard time finding elsewhere in a prober solution or angle/view (as a bobcat - thanks a lot PaintedHorses ;) )

But I thought:
If people had specific wishes; "a fullbody bluemerle collie", a "pink cadillac front view", a special building, a certain kind of flower ... or whatever is wanted

would it be an idea to make a thread for these wishes ;) It could be another member had just that among hers/his photo-files at home. Or they could direct to their photo-gallery if it was already in there (but perhaps not so easily found)...

.... others probably have the same problem when searching for specific subjects on www or in books. IF you find one it is often the case that it is: 1) much too small (pixilated) to use, 2) can't use it due to copyrights, 3) just a bad photo (so far what I've seen in Scribble library are great photos) :bye1:

Sounds like a good idea, lene! :) And if a subject photo can't be located, it would be a lot of fun for us photographers, to find and capture that subject.
Hope others feel the same!

That sounds like a good idea Lene! :) I love to take photos, but I would be more inclined to take pictures of things that someone else is looking for if I only knew! That would be especially great for those that are in other countries that have access to subjects that we or you do not have access to.

You could probably just go ahead and begin our lists on this thread or maybe start a new thread. Maybe Gemma will pop in and let you know what to do...since this is your good idea. ;)

Okay, I have a first wish:
Western: Cowboys on Horseback, western-saddles and -equipment, rodeo
I would like some close-up shots to see details in saddles, clothing and so. Also horsebackriding, both standing and moving (in western-style)

After the holiday here Gemma, the mods, Ivy (if she's back online) and myself can figure out the best way to set something like that up.

Meanwhile I know Jeri (Painted Horses) posted some photos of horses with riders on them.

Actually I think this is a good idea. I'm not sure where we want them to post the requests but, otherwise I think it would be nice to let people know what they are interested in using. We'll discuss it when all the mods get back and let you know how it comes out.

I really love the idea, especially since I am not a photographer and have no camera....I will sometimes use a disposable or my video camera which does digital stills...but I take terrible pictures and have been known to get my fingers in the way :o

don't know where to post this request if not here ;)

I've been searching the www for pics of wild cats - other than lion, tigers and jaugars, the smaller catfamily: like clouded leopards, Marble cats, Gold Cats, desert cats and so on. I've only found useful pictures that are copyrighed.... :(
If you know where I can find photos to use or you have some you wanna share I'll appreciate it very much ... :bye1:

I will try to get some images while I am in Florida. Boats, seascapes, golf course, driftwood (Big Talbot Island) and maybe some American Bald Eagles from Beaks the bird sanctuary. I was looking for the wish list but could not find one yet so I will just get what I can. If you do have a tropical/ocean kind of request post it before we leave at noon EST. I will also try to check from my dad computer while I am down there.

If anyone has good head shots of carousel horses..........?? I still havent had my fill of them but they are so hard to find. :)

I actually planned to do a serie of carousel-horsedrawings and took some photos long ago. I was a bit surprised when I first saw yours, didn't expect anybody had the same idea ;)
I've put 4 in the ImageLibrary, hope they will be useful. 2 looks more like ponies than horses :)
Having trouble finding a category I chose; Outdoor Stilllife

PS I can't see the images yet, it just has a label saying "Image Pending Approval" - suppose they will be checked first :confused:
