Hey I'm new here so how woul I go about having/getting a site banner on here?
Hi
the way I know when having your own web-site adress:
make a jpeg-file of your banner (468 pixels x 60 pixels maximum) and transferr it to your web-hosting (= mine is posted in a seperate filemap amongst my homepage files).
choose: Quick Links on the top banner right on this site or User CP on left
choose: edit signature
insert the banner via codes: (my websiteadress has no www - if you have it, it should be added)
this code should surround your adress for banner jpg-file example: http://yourhomepagename.com/filemap/bannername.jpg
and - this code should surround your http-adress for homepage: example: http://yourhomepage.com.
hope this helps :bye1:
What about if you do not have a web site yet, can you do a banner?
And How or Where do I look for directions?

right now, I believe that is the only way of doing it since we don't have an image uploader yet. That might be why some can do text between their pictures and some can't. Just a guess....but it makes sense to me.

Not sure if this is going to be where my head should be or at the bottom of the page!!! Sorry! I am usually not quite so "computer challenged" but bear with me! This is an antique pumper I did in colored pencil for our Firemen's Museum here in town. Its actual size is 3.50 inches by 3.50 inches (the image). Let's see what happened! Helen :o
