Well, it took me a couple of hours of searching for you all - it's not nice to play hide and seek so well! ;) I felt like my "family" had up and moved away while I was out! I'm SO GLAD to find you here! :bye1:
I live in Maple Ridge (BC) Canada, with my husband , 3 cats and a black lab. Kids have both moved out now, so I'm trying to take time to do the things I love (CP being a prominent one).
I'm self-taught (mostly) and have been drawing off and on since high school (how could it be possible? My 35th reunion is coming up!!). I struggle with my confidence in my drawing skills and am always surprised when I go back to look at something I did a while ago - some parts are quite good! I have always binged on drawing (every Spring I would get incredibly inspired and work really hard on a piece, but I would wear myself out and not do anything until the next Spring). I must say, since I found CP on the internet, it has helped me get past those blocks, and I try to do something art related on most days.
I'm so glad this site is here - I'm usually the quiet, shy one, so although I probably won't post an awful lot, I'll be here.

PS - Arlene -Thanks for posting the projects here - I have a list of the ones I want to do.
