View Full Version : How do I upload my avatar and banner?

I see several members have their tiny heads up and running, but I can not figure out how to. Also, where do I add my signature line?

If you click on "User CP" in the nav bar above, you'll see some links on the left labled Edit Signature, Edit Email & Password, Edit Profile, Edit Options, Edit Avatar, Edit Profile Picture...

Those should get you to everything you need. :D

Edit to add: Well you figured it out before I posted.

Ok. You got the tiny head. But loading my banner to the signature is whooping me.

I give. I can't see where to upload the crazy thing! :help:

Hmmmmm... I just have mine on my own site and linked to it with an image tag.

I know there was a formula for that.
I'll see if I can find it, but I'm sure someone here already knows it.

Inside the imgage tags did you just type the url to your image? Cuz I could do that with one of my websites.

I'm sure there is a second way to do it. I just can't find it. It will probably be a really obvious answer.

Yea. I simply have [ IMG ]http://KarenCardinal.com/wcbanner_kc2.jpg[ /IMG ] in my signature (of course without the spaces in the brackets). That's what shows my banner.

I'm sure someone here must know how you upload images without having to put them in a message though.

Right now we don't have an image uploader, Gemma is working on it. To add your banner you'll have to upload it to your website and then use the "insert picture" function in the edit signature menu. PLEASE do not upload your banner or any image to the WC! server. And remember banners are to be 468 x 60 pixels max.

I would like to add the cp artworks I have done so far to my signature line but I dont have my own website, only my own folder on my hard drive so how do I do it , pretty please?

I only have two completed works to put up but I can't figure out how to do it, am I dumb or wot! :confused:

Not dumb at all Ali. We don't have a way to upload images for a banner yet, hopefully we will in the near future. For now, if you want a banner, you will have to upload to your website and then insert here. Me, I'm just waitin til we get our own uploader.
