Let me start by introducing myself properly:
I live in the Danish countryside and share my house with one mother, two dogs, two cats, and some dust bunnies (don‘t ask me to count them). I make my living as a crossword puzzle constructor.
I have absolutely no artistic training. I started drawing about a year ago and picked up my first colored pencil last summer after seeing some beautiful cp works, done by some of you, on the internet. I am - maybe forever - at the “things can only get better”-level and in no position to offer advice or constructive criticism, but I am able to express my admiration.
I am so happy to see all of you! :)

Hello, Henri!
A crossword puzzle constructor? I guess I never thought about someone having to make crossword puzzles. Do have special resources that you use? This is so interesting!
Hi Henriette. It's good to see you. I've never forgotten the nice things you said about the first picture I posted. I'm glad your here.

Hi Brenda,
Funny, you don’t look like a “gramma” :) .
Well, I have a computer programme where I can search for words, which fit the construction. Apart from that, my most important resource is a TV-guide (for inspiration). Naturally, I also use encyclopaedias, dictionaries, the Internet, and sometimes even my brain  . Scandinavian crosswords are different from the ones you have in the U.S. - we usually put the clues inside the squares(?) and we also use photographs and cartoons as clues. I can’t show you any of the puzzles I make without violating the copyright of the company I work for, but this will give you an idea of what I‘m trying to explain: http://www.crosswordeurope.com/samples.html

Hi Greg,
:blushing: :) Thanks for the warm welcome. I’m glad you’re here too! I noticed you posted a new drawing and I plan to say something nice about that tomorrow. Right now I am going to bed - even night owls need to sleep.

Ha, I love the doodler status! :D
Thanks, Arlene and Ali! I tend to focus on the weaknesses to find out what I need to work on. And, Ali, I hope you soon get a positive effect from that nasty treatment.
Hi, Della! I look forward to seeing some of your work too!
TJ - when I used the word “abandoned” nothing made any sense to me - it still doesn’t, but at least I now know what happened.
A half completed crossword… hmm, I think I know what was missing from the still life I tried to set up.
If your dust bunnies multiply like crazy, they must be related to mine.
I'm off to explore this great site!
