In Derwent Graphite pencils.

Last night at my art group, we had a young lad sit for us.

I'm am a bit rusty on the life drawing as this is my first in about 5 years. He had a really dark top lip.
I normally draw from photos.
This is A3 size (The large visual Diary) and it took me 1.5 hours.

Good for you drawing from life again!! It's something I've never done. The pics are nice. I don't think I could have done the second one - I would have cried the whole time.

Angela, you are the first person to see that and make comment.

The first drawing I ever did of a still born made me cry and I was depressed for a few days, It does get a little easier. Depending on the photographs of course. :( :crybaby:
