Has anyone used these yet? (I have GOT to stay out of Dick Blick :bangin: )
They seem reasonably priced, lightfast, and you can get open stock online as well as the sets in the store.
Curious if anyone has tried these yet. Seems I read about them somewhere but I can't remember for sure!
Thanks!

Hey, Dana! I have a small set of VG pencils and a few from open stock. They handle very similar to the Prismas. I feel no difference in how they handle and I see no difference in how they blend with the Prismas.
If you see a color you like, order it!
Dick Blick... I gotta stay out of there. I do, I do...

I tried the Van Gogh's and I didn't like them as much...in fact I sold my set. I found them a bit "harder" than the prismas, but not the way Polychromos are harder. Also, the packages seem very cool until you actually try to use the pencil stands they come with.
Oozoo, I agree, the stands are useless. I like the pencils though and found them to be the same as Prismas. Some of the lighter colors actually are so buttery they get used up faster, like the light greens and yellows. They don't last long... sigh!
