Multiple posts to Library

Is there an easy way of uploading mutliple images to the RIL? I have tried to add three in the past 30 minutes, one at a time. The first took, but the second two just sent me to a white page and I am not sure if they are there or not. How does the URL thing work? Could I upload a batch of pics in a folder to one of my sites, then get the library to copy them all over?

So glad to hear your adding some of your beautiful photos to the library. I was curious what camera you were using, your photos are so crisp!

It can be a pretty slow process adding to the RIL. Not sure if this is correct but usually when that white page happened to me, the photo I was trying to upload was too big. So I made sure all were on the largest side no greater than 1000 pix.

I think they have to be uploaded one at a time, slow I know ! If your getting the blank white page it probably didn't upload, image was too large. 1050 mp max width (or hieght). I'm not sure of the maximum resolution, that could affect the upload as well.

I have no idea on the multiple uploads, will have to ask gemma I guess.

the resolution should be 150 max

that makes it 150dpi by 1050pixels x 1050pixels

Hi Bob,

I just changed it so you can upload 5 photos at a time. The problem is, it most likely will just take longer. I'm looking into it to see if there is a better way so it goes faster but it will take me some time to get the answer to that.

Thanks Gemma, but I can't seem to get that to work either. I have loaded up a few, one at a time, and think I am getting the hang of it now, so will add some more later. Thanks for doing this, and I am sorry this causes more work for someone checking them out.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who has gotten the white screen. Maybe now Iwill be able to get my photos to upload. I guess they were too big.
