I was playing around with some free watercolor paper samples. This is an ACEO, size 2.5" x 3.5". It's done in watercolor and cp on 300 lb. Arches Cold press watercolor paper. I really liked the thickness and texture of this paper.

Oops! Sorry, Tamara. I overlooked this somehow.

This little guy is so adorable. Will he be for sale?

Hi Tamara!

I love your style... I started out in watercolor about 14 years ago, when my daughter was in Kindergarten... and though I strayed, it's still my favorite art medium! I love the light colors in your ACEO... you'll sell this one fast.

What kind of WC's do you use? I am partial to Daniel Smith. I also like the 300 lb. paper..

Are you a regular at the 'other' website? I am currently doing a A-Z ACEO Watercolor Floral Challenge... we're on the "J" flower this week... it's definitely hard to work on a 2.5 x 3.5 size, but it's fun!

Looking forward to seeing more of these from you... I don't see much wc over here, but I love it!

Cleo
ACEO = Artist Cards Editions and Originals. An ACEO is a 2.5" x 3.5" piece of art, created with many materials. You can see a wide selection on ebay by searching with ACEO.

It's up for auction with the hope that someone will love it enough to add it to their collection. :D

Rose ... yes I am a regular on the other site. I'm Lady Rando. :)

Cleo, yes the artist does retain their copyrights. I even print a small COA (certificate of authenticity) to go with each card, whether it's an original or a print. I like to make my ACEO prints limited editions of 10.

Please feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like, it's how we all learn and I'm always happy to answer. :)
