View Full Version : Wild Eyes - pen & ink drawing

My first art post on ScribbleTalk :D

Bobcat eyes done with pen and ink using mircron tech pens. Drawn on 110lb acid free paper. Orignal size is about 8 inches by 4 inches.

I have an animated .gif of the different stages of the drawing, but I'm not sure if I can upload that type of file??

Love the eyes Murray - very piercing!

There is something I find not quite right with the angle of the eyes towards the nose... I think it may be that the bottom left (as we look at it) line coming away from the eye... that is the very, very bottom of the picture curls away from the nose area, and I feel it should be continuing in a downward 'right' slope. A teensy-weensy change, but it might make a difference. What do you think?

Oh, you clever thing. Terrific work. I would love to see the .gif if you can get it to work.

Dorell, there may be more to the black marking, also there is a slight tilt to the head so one can see a little more than the other side.
Then again I could be wrong. Ignore this if I am.

it is really nice work. i would pump up the darks some so you get a real difference dark/light.

on the monitor it looks a light in values, that can be off so if you have a gray scale check against that.

This one is already finished and gone, so I won't be able to make any changes.

the GIF works fine and the darks are there perfectly in the last frame. i was WRONG, but that is not a first :D

hope to see you here more your pen work is amazing.
