Using the Search button

Hi Administrators!

I was wondering whether you could give me some help. If I use the Search button (e.g., I searched for Verithin, to find out what people thought about using a harder pencil that kept its sharpness longer than Prismacolors), it led to a large number of results.

The very first one was Gemma's "It's not a dog!". Great! She's an expert. However, the search tool only put me on the thread, not on the spot where "verithin" was referenced. This is a long thread, and I basically had to go from page to page, until I finally got to the place I wanted.

Is there a way to direct the "Search" tool to put me directly in the first reference to the searched item in a thread?

The only suggestion I might make is once you are in a thread you could do another search of the word you are looking for.... at that point it will tell you exactly which posts have the word your trying to find.
