OK!...I FINALLY finished this drawing! YIPPIE!! Original size is about 6 inches by 8 inches using Micron pens sizes 02 and 05 for the drawing

Let me know what you all think! It's been a while since I finished an ink drawing and I am happy with the results! :D

How adorable is this?! Love the little guy's long john's the old timey feel to this whole piece!

What is he tacking the stocking to? I want to say a mantle but perhaps it's a screen of some sort?

Murray, GREAT job with the ink work, especially on the boy's jammies. It's hard to get light, delicate shading like that.

THANKS for ALL the comments! :D
It is a fireplace mantle he's nailing the stocking to and he is just on the outside of the fireplace screen. I guess the bottom left could have been a bit darker.

awww cute Murray, love the little buttons on his tushie especially... ;) Nice linework :D

i love micron pens for their ease of use, they just don't feel as intimidating as a dip pen does. At least to me.

was this piece for something special?

This is being printed out smaller and the prints will be put on Christmas cards that my wife makes....she has even added a bit of color to the Boy's PJ's and stocking using a watercolor pencil.....maybe I'll show you all a sample of a completed card?? :)

Love it! Pen and Ink is something I used to do a LONG time ago - this has a wonderful feel to it and will make an excellent Christmas card!

THANKS Angela! :)

OK...didn't know if I should start a different thread for the cards...so I'm posting them here.

Here are four samples of the home made cards with the art work.
As I stated earlier, my wife comes up with all the designs for the cards.
Let me know what you think :D

How fun Murray! How much better could it be than to send a Holiday card created by the two of you? Not only that, but your lucky recipients always get an original.

Well done you two!!!
