Hello everyone. :bye1: I just thought I would introduce myself. I've been around for awhile on the other forum, but I guess you might say I'm a person of few words, most of the time. I enjoy reading and looking to see what you guys are doing though. Anyway, I'm around often but do not post alot.
I am married with two teenagers, 18 yr.old and 15 yr.old, and one dog, Lexie. I have been teaching art for 22 years (18 of those at the local High School). I enjoy teaching most of the time. It is frustrating, but interesting and fun.
In my spare time I draw with colored pencils and lately have been doing some commissions in pen and ink. But I love color, so I always go back to my colored pencils. I started using colored pencils about 20 years ago. I bought a book by Bet Borgeson that began my fascination with colored pencils. Now I have just about every book that has been published about colored pencils! If only I could work faster with cps! Life seems to get in the way of the time that I would like to spend using them. One day, when I can retire from teaching, I hope to dedicate a lot more time to them. Or before then, when both kids leave home and I have to start that new phase of parenting.
