GSD - acrylic/cp

Hi everyone - this is my second commission. Didn't have a brilliant ref although it was the best they had and taken indoors using flash so couldn't see the colour of the eyes.

I started with the eyes and nose which I did in cp - then I did the background and basecoat of the dog in acrylics - once I had the lights and darks figured out I continued in cp. 9x7 on Stonehenge using chromacolour acrylics and karismas. All c&c welcome before I finish it.

Hi Jenny,

I like this piece, particularly the colors you are using. The grey bg looks great against the warm yellows in the fur and contrasts nicely with the greens.

Is this complete or a WIP?

Very nice Jen. :clap: I like the background too. Good look to the dogs face. I would proably pull up the darks some more in the face area because the dark portion of the dogs back is reading stronger which is pulling the eye away.
