Hello all,i hope everyone is having a happy holiday.

I started this the other day it was an experimental piece to see if i wanted to do the eyes or the whole face, and i think im gonna stick with the eyes, it didnt take me long to do it, i used white and black charcoal pencils with kneaded erasers and tort pencils. now that i know what it might look like (if i put more serious effort into it) im going to take out the white spots on the left side ( suppose to be a veil over her face) and keep the white ones that seem to be coming from her right eye and turn that mass of whiteness into a more recognizable dragon...........

this is for the story im writing. :D

Edit: now that ive gotten a good look at it on the computer i can see where else i need to make some adjustments , i stopped working on it when i realized what i wanted to do with it, hope you all like.

Beautiful work, Stephanie! Cool concept, too!

And that's the way it always goes for me, too. I think it looks ok and then I post it and WHAM! All the flaws come jumping out on me.

Wow, I usuually forget to check here, or have little time to see everything but this is great. Lovely intriguing eyes. Story? You got me curious as to what it's about. Dragon? If your as good at story telling I as drawing I'd love to know more. Post when you have a smigeon to feed our curiousity. How hubby is doing better.

Hi there! hubby is doing alot better, but theres still alot to do , doctors, lawyers and such. He still cant drive yet, but hes just happy he can get off the couch without the help of his short wife lol.

Thanks for the compliments on my drawing, i wish i could finish it (well actually i havent even got to start on the edited version yet) right now since my husband isnt working i have picked up a commission for a couple murals to help out with money flow til hes recovered (nothing was broken thankfully).

the story that goes with the drawing is 5 years in the thinking, and i got some of it on paper but its alway changing, if youve ever tried to write stories before you should know how this is lol

lets just say that yes, dragons have something to do with it lol.

Again thanks
Stephane

Very nice - even if it is a whole picture, eyes always draw me in when done right - I forget to even look at the rest of the pic usually ... just set there staring at eyes, lol. These were done very nicely. congrats.
