This is my 13 year old Ginger Tabby named Augie...short for Augustus. He loves to sit in the sun, must make the old bones feel better. :)
The first pic is out of the camera and the second is with some changes. Got rid of the light triangle at the top right. And enhanced the color so it has a little more interesting color.
I'm thinking the crop is OK as is...with a little more "face" room on the left than on the right. But I would like to hear what others think.

Hi Cindy,
What a great pose! I really love what you've done to the color. I think it would be great like that with adding maybe just a bit of cool blue, greens in places. And actually I sort of like the light triangle in the back. I think the value is too light, but I really like the repitition of shapes it makes with the other corner and creates a very nice diagonal for the cat to sit in. Maybe you could keep it but just darken it a bit.

I can't help much with crops but I do want to say that I like the color you've added. And this is a terrific cat pose - just sitting there basking in the sun.
Are you going to try the colorfix again?

Thanks Lucky for your feedback. I actually did kind of like the top triangle of light but thought it was too bright. Didn't occur to me to just make it darker :o
Hi Brenda....glad you like the color. I am going to try the colorfix again. I don't know if this will be my next piece, but will definitely get started on it in the next week or so.

Thanks Katy for your input....I'm thinking I might play with that top triangle of light a little more since it seems to appeal to people.

i would keep the second triangle...just make it closer in value to the ground color. as for crop? i'd crop a hair off the top and add a drop more on the bottom

Thanks Katy, Thanks Arlene. I will work on getting the top triangle toned down, but still visible. And a "hair" and a "drop" for the crop :D
Hey Cindy. I like this, have you started this one yet? :)
