I'm going to be framing about 10 pretty big drawings and have been looking into online framers. Frames by Mail (www.framesbymail.com) seems to be the cheapest & they said they use acid-free mats - which they are sending me samples of. Has anyone used them and were dissatisfied? I am probably going to just get very simple metal frames and off white matts for all of them, so they match.

I like florida frames...any size you want and inexpensive prices.
I like their service and they're very helpful. They do want a $100 minimum, but frame a few of your pieces and you'll be up there.

I've ordered from framesbymail, just some basic metal frames that I assembled at home (I had just learned how to cut mats, so I was all set in that regard). You're right, I think they are probably one of the cheapest sources around, and yet the frames were very nice & quite substantial. (They shipped quickly, too). What's more, they have a really good selection & you can get them in just about any profile your little heart desires. :D

Another online framer you might look at is: www.pictureframes.com. They do custom frames. Hope this helps. :)
