Classic Tomatoes

I have 3 pieces exhibited in the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts "Wet and Dry" show. The show is for watercolor, pastels and pencil. Lots of really nice colored pencil pieces. My "Classic Tomatoes", which is 7.5 x 11 on dark brown colorfix, won an Honorable Mention. I think I was the only colored pencil award winner, the jurists were from the Pike's Peak Watercolor and Pike's Peak Pastel Societies. The major prizes went to pastelists...

2006 has started off very well for me :)

Indeed nice - I'll have to try my colorfix ... I'm just itching too, lol. (I brought a brown one too)

Found it most interesting that such light colors did so well on it...

Hi Brandy...thanks for the nice comments. That's the one thing I love so much about colorfix, is that the lights get so much brighter than black or dark colored papers like Artagain. I used the black Artagain alot last year, but the colors on colorfix are so much richer.
